Keep it simple gifts.....

This is a retro kitchen towel I made for my sister using Laurie Wisbrun's Prep Work. My sister has the cutest retro kitchen. One of these days, I'll take photos to share.

Maggie, our daughter, has a passel(or would that be herd)of endearing, black cats.

I made her this pillow with L.W. fabric. It makes me think of her cats. ;o)
They are Troll, Pumpkin Face, Merlin and Lancelot in no particular order.

I try to make a few simple Christmas ornaments for our "Swedish" Christmas tree every year.

This year, I used my pinking rotary cutter to cut this stocking and then lightly stuffed it.  The faux ric-rac fabric made this an especially easy ornament to make. You thought I stitched the ric-rac on? I shouldn't have told you.

During the holidays it can be so hard to stay calm. I keep reminding myself to take deep breaths and to keep sewing!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
