It's a Ruby Finish....at last!

Mr. White Socks (no...not a cat) has been feeling a little left out of the blogging scene. I can't use him in the blog unless I have a quilt for him to hold up!

At one point this is what Ruby looked like after the blocks hit the fan...so to speak. I'm pleased that I was able to put the pieces back together!

I quilted Ruby with straight lines which you can see a little better on the back.
Why does Ruby look bubbly in the photo? She's crinkly but that I like.

Note to self: Remove the basket of flowers before I photograph any more quilts. It manages to make an appearance in most of my quilt shots.

With Ruby out of the way, I feel a little better about bringing new projects on board. I'm doing Bee in My Bonnet's Row Along. Her quilts are always cheerful and I'll take cheerful whenever I can get it!

See you soon!

Congratulations on the finish! I love Ruby. If it's possible to have a crush on fabric, I have a serious crush on Ruby, Marmalade, and Pam Kitty Morning fabric. I can't wait to see what you do with the Row A Long--love those browns!

Beautifully done- and I like the crinkling. I think the basket of flowers should make a "photo bomb" appearance in all of your quilt photos ;)

Hi Deborah - thanks for your comment chez moi..just popped in for a visit and am in love with your quilt. I so admire peeps who take the time to do all that finicky work - I am far too impatient to ever try that but blimey it's a beautiful thing. The colours are fab.
