Grannies...life is good

You may recognize the above picture from a previous post. I enjoy crocheting granny squares. It's one of the only crochet patterns I can do with ease. I wish I could crochet amigurumi!

Now I'm participating in the Fusion Blanket Crochet Along. It can't get much better than combining fabric with crochet!
And if that won't keep me busy I ran across this new Great Granny Along! These grannies have an extra round!
Lori of Bee in My Bonnet has a new take on the pattern that many of us have been making.

I saved the best granny news for last!
I'm the granny of an adorable 20 month old boy! And he will be welcoming a sister in November! I see a lot of this in my future!

Deborah XOXOXO

I'm currently doing granny squares, too. It took me years to figure out how to do them -- so easy now, but there are some patterns that make simple harder than it needs to be. Love the crochet around the fabric squares. I just did my first towel borders and enjoyed that a lot. Congrats on the grandbaby to be. Hope you have a great week. Tammy
