| Vintage Modern Wallhanging |
I have a thing for Bonnie and Camille fabric. I'm just one of their many fans. I'll venture a guess that when their new line Marmalade is available, it will fly off its bolts and I'll be first in line. The above Vintage Modern wallhanging/table topper was a swap I sent to my friend Leanne.
I'm happy to say that I've made progress on my Ruby quilt. I'm going to add a few more rows....just enough to cover the white socks....and then add a border. Quilting style is still undecided.

And changing things up a bit, I'm co-hosting a Crochet Along with Corey of Little Miss Shabby and Cindy of Live a Colorful Life. The Fusion Blanket Crochet Along was inspired by Corey's love of this luscious blanket. The love is contagious!
To kick off the Crochet Along we're each offering a giveaway.
Leave a comment and next Monday (July 2nd) I'll announce the winner of The Crochet Stitch Bible, the Summer edition of Crochet magazine and a Clover hook holder.
Be sure to visit Cindy's and Corey's blog for their fun giveaways!

I am hoping to join in on this fun project. I have everything but the yarn and will be picking that up today.
Your Ruby Quilt is gorgeous!
It's really funny that crochet is becoming fashionable again... :-)
I really like the Vintage Modern wallhanging that you made. The fabric looks wonderful in it. I enjoy crochet and thank you for a chance to win this generous package of goodies.
the fusion blanket is really cute. I would love to win this giveaway!
I love crochet. That was my drug before getting the quilt bug last year :)
What a fabulous giveaway! I'm a bit addicted to crochet and I would love to win!
I love this crochet blanket idea. I am following along and those books would be a perfect win since I am new to crochet.
count me in! can't wait to try this blanket
Wow! I just found your blog via Little Miss Shabby! Love the quilt!
I don't know how to crochet yet but I really really want to learn!
I love crochet and sewing too, so I'm in. Thanks for the great giveaway!!
I am excited to combine my limited crochet knowledge with my slightly better than beginner quilting skills. My mother was a crocheter. She made some of the most awesome stuff. As a kid I thought it was dorkey but now I realize she had amazing talent.
This looks like such a fun, different project! Looking forward to learning something new! Oh - also wanted to say that your Ruby quilt is great! Also like your wallhanging - those color ways are so fresh.
I agree with your thoughts on Bonnie & Camille, I have been nagging my local fabric shop about Marmalade since my first glimpse. I have not done any crochet for years, time to start again maybe.
That is a gorgeous crocheted blanket. I may have to join in on it.
LOVE the colors in that quilt! Great giveaway - my daughter's just getting into crocheting. :) Thanks!
Estou mesmo precisando de um incentivo para voltar ao crochê. A cerca de dois meses terminei uma colcha,e não comecei mais nada.Agora é meu inverno aqui no Brasil,e é ótimo ficar no sofá crochetando.Obrigada.tiacarminhapezzuto@gmail.com
Love your quilts and love the fabric too! Bonnie and Camille´s fabrics are beautiful with the perfect color combinations.
thanks for the great giveaway
Wow, great way to combine two of my loves! I have a couple of charm packs just waiting for something glorious like this... Question though: how big does it finish? I'm guessing if I use 2 charm packs I can get a bigger blanket... thinking Lion Brand fisherman's yarn perhaps as the yarn... OK, that's a lot of thoughts for a single comment, but I'd love your perspective! May not be crocheting-along (then again...) but love the idea!
i love the color combination in the quilt and thanks for the giveaway.

This does look like such a fun project and one I can work on during lunch at work or just sitting on porch. Now I sound like such a granny, but I don't mind one bit.
NEAT COLORS!
THANKS FOR A WONDERFUL GIVEAWAY!
HAPPY STITCHING@

I just found out about the crochet along (from Jennie at Clover and Violet) and I am so excited to check it out! Thanks for the chance to win too!
I think that I would love to try this blanket but my crochet experience is slight...I made a scarf more than 20 years ago! I'm guessing I could really use your prize! Thanks for the chance!
Oh, I love, love, love your Ruby quilt! I am thinking of joining your crochet-along - if I can learn to crochet!!
Thank you for the lovely giveaway. My mother crochets and my sister is an amazing left-handed crocheter. I will be a rank beginner (my grandmother taught me a chain stitch many years ago so I'm not too swift). This would be a fun project.
I think that I would love to try this blanket but my crochet experience is slight...I made a scarf more than 20 years ago! I'm guessing I could really use your prize! Thanks for the chance!
I love Ruby and your quilt is lovely. I would love to get back into crocheting for when I am away from my machines!
Love your quilt!
My crochet experience is limited to some simple items I made almost 21 years ago (at the age of 9) but I'll give it a try!
Quilting, crocheting, I love it all. Thanks for the giveaway.
Wow, very generous giveaway. The last thing I crocheted was a bath rug out of batik strips. lol.

Thanks for cohosting the crochetalong!
Thanks for the chance to win this. What a great idea to combine crochet and fabric!
These books are just what I need to get me fired up to crochet! ...Evelyn soparkaveataoldotcom
I am really loving the idea of this project. Can't wait for it to start although I think I need to go get some new yarn - after all you can never have too much fabric or yarn!!
I love your wall hanging quilt. Beautiful job you've done with that. I am another huge fan of Bonnie and Camille.
My Mom taught me VERY little with crochet years ago when I was a teen. (Please don't ask just how many years ago that was K? LOL) Last year I got the bug and really wanted to learn much more than I had back then but never got too much further than buying a nice hook and after much frustration, figured out the yarn I had bought was not very good. I had nothing but problems with that yarn splitting if I just looked at it, I swear. It was horrible. Anyway, I'd love to win but, just to warn ahead of time, I know that currently I don't have the time to join in with your Crochet Along. I've been reading along so far however and plan to continue following since the info being given will surely help me. If you want to remove me from winning because of that, I totally understand but I wanted to be upfront. Long story but I'm dealing with some hand pain currently that won't allow me to use one of my hands in the way one would while crocheting. I would love to learn to do what you're showing with your quilt along because it will help me put crocheted edging onto baby blankets which was one reason I wanted to re-learn to crochet.
Thanks for cohosting!
I'm really hoping I can join in this CAL, I just need to find the time...
I love your quilt, Ruby is gorgeous!
Love the wall hanging and quilt! As I can barely thread a needle, I suspect crochet maybe a bit beyond me ;-)
I love your granny squares, they are gorgeous with the Vintage Modern... maybe I'll have to use my layer cake to copy you! Thanks for the chance to win!
hi deborah! haven't crocheted in years but am excited about the prospect of doing it again :D
What fun! I love the concept of combining crochet and fabric in a blanket. What.A.Great.Idea. Thanks for adding the giveaway, too!
Can't crochet to save my life (my dad can however, he's amazing!) but wanted to leave a comment anyway to say wow! Gorgeous quilt top!
Can't wait to learn to crochet!

LOVE your Vintage Modern quilt and your Ruby quilt!! I can not WAIT for Marmalade to come out. I keep going to the United Notions pdf of Marmalade and just looking at it. Fabric porn at its best. LOL
I'd love to win the giveaway for my crochet-loving daughter!

What a fabulous quilt! Thanks for a chance to win these wonderful quilting goodies! :)
I am also guilty also of Bonnie and Camille "love." Second in line, I guess after you for the Marmalade! Great quilts, I like simple designs and so far am partial to miniatures that fit on a tabletop! I, however, haven't learned to do "flying" needle crafts!
