These are the simple pincushions nested in Fiestaware cups that I showed you last week. M-R from Quilt Matters and Kat from Ladybug Hugs suggested that I make some mug rugs to go with the cups. And there was a second on that motion. I listened and here they are.
I used Treasures and Tidbits and Half Moon Modern for the squares and Essex Linen for the solid portion and the backing of the mats.
I used up almost all my dots on the binding and squares. These dots are precious to me so I guess this qualifies me for Kelby's My Precious QAL. My HMM dots are almost gone!
I'm still tempted to add a few more pincushions to my Fiesta collection along with a few more mug mats.
Sometimes it's the simplest of things that make us most happy.

I am completely and utterly in love with these matching place mats and pin cushions! Oh to have more hours in the day, I would make them immediately!
